Product Details
24LC512 is a 512 Kbit (64k x 8 bit) electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) IC. The IC can store the information and won?t be affected even if power is turned off. The data be overwritten and retrieved any time (just like our Pendrive). It has a wide range of operating voltage from 1.7V to 5.5V means it can operate with both 3.3v and 5v devices. The device can be cascaded with up to 8 similar ICs to expand.
This EEPROM IC is developed to use for advanced low power applications like personal communications and data acquisition. The IC works with IIC or I2C protocol that makes it easy to interface with most of the MCUs and consumes fewer pins. It has a page write capability of up to 128 bytes of data. It is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 512K boundary.
